CHALLENGE: ADVENTURE and ACADEMIC PROGRAM (CAAP) – Grades 6, 7, and 8
The popular and long-running CHALLENGE: Adventure and Academic Program will challenge middle-school learners to explore, solve problems, develop critical thinking skills, and have FUN. Participants embark on a variety of (occasionally ridiculous) investigations, activities, tasks, and stunts that require them to collaborate, set goals, and get creative, then connect what they’re learning to their homes, schools, and communities. CAAP participants also work directly with college-aged student mentors, explore justice-based leadership topics, and build foundational literacy and discussion-based skills.
*Each student can complete this program in person only once.
