Nate is a first-generation college graduate from Providence, Rhode Island. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2021 as a Talent Development Scholar, where he studied political science with a minor in business. In 2020, he was awarded the Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship for an internship program abroad in Barcelona, Spain. In 2021, he was awarded the Michael P. Metcalf Memorial Fund and Christine T. Grinavic Adventurer's Fund from the Rhode Island Foundation to volunteer in Nicaragua and Hawaii. In 2024, he participated in The Fulbright Program in Panama City, Panama, through the Institute of International Education, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Additionally, he is a certified Clifton Strengths Coach through Leadership Rhode Island. His experiences focus on international affairs, business development, and education.
