Homebuyer Education with PCF Development
Date: Wednesday, April 12
Time: 5:30pm-6:30 p.m.
Please join us for a general basic one-hour homeownership workshop hosted by Pawtucket Central Falls Development in which we will explore the general homebuying process and demystify common financial myths associated with buying a home. Families will learn important financial factors to consider when buying a home and where to begin in the process. Join us in this conversation and get these and other questions answered.

Nutrition Education Four-week Workshop Series with Rachel Oliva from URI (University of Rhode Island)
Dates: 4 Week Series in English: April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11
Time: 6:00pm-7:00 p.m.
Please join us for a four-week workshop series on Nutrition Education with SNAP-Ed educator from the University of Rhode Island, Rachel Oliva. This series is a continuation of the one-hour workshop we hosted on February 7, and we will address the following topics in depth:
- Week 1 (April 20): MyPlate & Budgeting – Making MyPlate Dinner for the Family
- Week 2 (April 27): Fruits & Vegetables/ Meal Planning 101
- Week 3 (May 4): Whole Grains/Healthy Snacks
- Week 4 (May 11): Think Your Drink (Added/Natural Sugars)
Nutrition affects our mental and physical health, which impacts our overall quality of life. We hope that families will increase their understanding of these topics and learn valuable action steps they can put into practice. Understanding the Highly Selective College Admissions Process

Students benefit from attending highly selective colleges and universities because they tend to offer more resources, better financial packages and have higher graduation rates. However, the process of applying and getting accepted into these schools is complex and students must be well prepared in different areas. This session, presented by the College of the Holy Cross, will provide a better understanding of the highly selective college admissions process.
